I have always enjoyed waking up on saturday and sunday mornings and reading the newspaper...not on the computer. The traditional feel of the paper between my fingers has always appealed to me. Although the speed of the internet and blogging has allowed news to reach different parts of the world in a split second, it just doesn't feel the same. In my opinion, looking at a computer screen in the morning is hard to do and its not comfortable to me. The newspaper has always been a major part of my life and its hard to imagine a world without a newspaper you can pick up and read.
I believe that the news world is changing and it may only be available by web in the future, but this does create a problem for journalists. According to the article The Future (We Hope) of Journalism, it is harder for journalists to support themselves as bloggers because it is harder to hold an audience. However, the author believes that journalism will continue because blogging can never "stand up to big government and big business." Instead journalism is needed to do this.

Edward vs. Jacob
I am writing this mostly to all the "Edward" fans. Edward is not all that. From seeing previews and trailors of the movies, Jacob is so much better. Despite the fact that Taylor thinks he has a baby face, at least he doesn't look creepy like Edward. I mean I would rather be friends with a wearwolf than a vampire. You can tell Edward is a one too because he is definitely lacking some vitamin D. In my opinion...he may need to have a tanning bed on hand 24/7. I have nothing against Twilight and I plan on reading the books soon, but from what i've seen, Jacob should dominate Edward anyday!!!

Frank
Frank, the seven foot distorted bunny rabbit from Donnie Darko, has been a reoccurring image in my nightmares. Although he is not considered one of the more "scarier" characters, he has impacted my life more than I have realized. Whether he is involved in chasing me and terrorizing me during the night or simply standing in the background, Frank is there. I see him in mirrors, in closets, and even standing in my kitchen. While these dreams are in my conscience and in my head, they are real to me. There is never a night where I don't close my closet door before sleeping and it never hurts to check under the bed because you never know where Frank will be or when he will decide to take action...
